We believe that the key to a safe community is a strong working relationship between the public and law enforcement - hence the term community policing. That relationship is based on shared responsibility for the welfare of the community. We have a volunteer program with over 30 members who volunteer their valuable time to assist the department in numerous ways. Volunteers meet monthly for ongoing training and to share information. The benefits of these volunteers to the department and community are immeasurable. (RSVP)
